So much to type and not enough time to do it all!
We went on a 28 day vacation back to Indiana and stayed with Andy's parents.
We endured 2 over 14 hour car trips with 2 toddlers.
We got to meet up with family, friends, and get sick!
Callie took her first steps unassisted at Grammy and Pops.
Wilson got to spend lots of time with his favorites, Jake and Lacey, and unofficial aunt Kiki.
We had a great time and already miss that easiness of getting to live close to family.
Wilson got to play in snow for the first time.
Callie got to meet all her extended family, and give them the stink eye.
Little girl was not friendly at all! But she's at that stage right now.
So now we are back, getting back into our lonely family groove.
No grandmas and grandpas to visit.
We have our friends though and the weather is so much nicer here!
Hopefully I will find more time to update in the future.
For the last 15 years, 'home' has been wherever Matt is for me. But home is also still my parents' house, or even Colorado. When we lived in Utah, I actively hated going back after vacation, even glaring at people on the plane, because they were part of the reason I didn't want to go back.....the only place we have lived where I was always happy to return from a trip was Europe. Not hard to leave one wonderful place when you're just returning to your regular awesome place. ;) It never gets easier to leave Colorado for me though.
